Biofuels are easily created, because the raw material is produced every day, namely human feces.
Fuel the Car of the stool.
An experiment at the University of California, produces fuel with raw materials derived from human feces. By converting biogas into hydrogen which can be used to drive a hydrogen car.
The Process, bacteria in the feces produce biogas which if mixed with steam, will decompose methane into hydrogen and carbon dioxide.
"This is a hydrogen-producing technology with terminim environmental impact," said Scott Samuelson, director of the National Fuel Cell Research Center, University of California, as quoted from MSN.
Power plants from bacteria and biogas is not new. But this is the first time the technology is used as a fuel hydrogen cars.
Samuelson says, human feces that contain lots of bacteria can be used to drive more than 30% the number of motor vehicles in Southern California.
Previously many car companies are planning to release a product hydrogen cars in California on 2015, among others, Mercedes, Honda and Chevrolet.
